Day-To-Day: 

Provides oversight for remote plant operations including safety & environmental compliance, collaboration with ICC, gathering system operation, pipeline operation, pipeline integrity,CHMS efforts, training and mentoring, managing employee development, interact with customers.

 Remote plant operations is integral to the Integrated Collaboration Center (ICC) and is essential for maximizing every molecule that enters the facility.  The remote plant operators will work directly with the ICC optimizers, engineers, coordinators and gas control to optimize each plant and asset. 


What You Will Be Responsible For: 

  • Provides oversight for remote plant operations including collaboration with the ICC, gathering system operation, pipeline operations, asset plant operations.
  • Supervise Remote Plant Operators by planning and scheduling work, providing work direction, performance feedback and training. Serve as liaison between the asset plant supervisor and asset plant operators/technicians, maintenance, environmental compliance and permitting personnel, and various State and Federal Agencies to ensure the Asset remains in compliance with all of our requirements. 
  • Train, mentor and develop personal.
  • Serve as a resource for safety and environmental compliance activities across the asset.
  • Interface and coordinate with ICC, commercial and engineering personnel providing input/ideas on projects related to gas acquisition opportunities and optimization of plants and entire asset.
  • Work with asset operations, engineering, health and safety, psm, and environmental compliance and permitting on design reviews, pre-construction items, PHA’s MOC’s, and PSSR’s to ensure facilities are constructed and operated per permit requirements.
  • Review and analyze various operating data from SCADA, etc. to monitor compliance with our air permits.  Evaluate and review data to compliance.
  • Improving reliability and efficiency while reducing risk; Striving for operational excellence.




Requirements: 

  • High school degree or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to work overtime and handle call-outs. 
  • 5+ years of maintenance associated with gas gathering and compression
  • 5+ years of operating experience
  • Previous leadership experience
