Day to Day:

Provide Region and Asset support for Operating and Mechanical Reliability in areas of change management compliance and training with specific focus for Operating Procedures, Required Practices, DOT Compliance, PSM Regulations, Safety and Environmental Regulations


What you will be Responsible for:

Mechanical Integrity:

Mechanical Integrity Inspections and Turnarounds:

Functions as inspection/turn-around coordinator between operations, maintenance, and third party contractors
Assists as necessary with Turnaround planning
Assists in writing turnaround/shutdown procedures, preparing material lists and developing schedules

Utilizes equipment inspection records database to identify piping and pressure vessel inspection schedules; update, as needed, inspection records into database

Assist in communication/training of DCP Required Policies that affect maintenance personnel

Perform DCP Required Policies and Guideline Document audits for effectiveness and compliance with document requirements. Recommend or provide training to ensure comprehension

Audit maintenance documentation requirements for project or data files and recommend process improvements or provide training to ensure completion

Mechanical Reliability Processes:

Assists Region Reliability Coordinator to ensure Maximo utilization in the asset

Assist in review of maintenance data to determine trends; identify problem areas or repeat failures

G&P Initiatives

Serve on various special initiative teams

Assist region in execution (communication, training, implementation, etc) of initiative strategies and processes


Miscellaneous:

Participate as SME on various types of Company coordinated audits

Provide troubleshooting expertise assistance to operating facilities drawing on comprehensive plant operations knowledge

Handles special compliance projects as needed.

Use various types of application software (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, AMS, Maximo, KMS, UltraPIPE, etc.) to perform tasks related to position: tracking measures, processing work orders, etc.

Gathers data, validates, checks and prepares reports as required; approves invoices (within authority level), timesheets, etc. when required

May represent company in interactions with producers, agency representatives, auditors, etc.

Provide experience based training to new asset supervisors; when necessary, provide facility/area coverage and direction for operations/other assigned personnel in asset supervisor absence.

Interfaces and networks with various company personnel especially asset personnel, region support personnel, training personnel, etc.

Provide availability for callout purposes or emergency circumstances


Turnarounds

Regional resource for DCP Midstream’s Turnaround Process and practices

Work with TA CoE to determine status of TA efforts in their region

Regional contact, trainer, super user for NaviTrack

Member of TA readiness assessment team within own region and across regions as available

Validate work scopes by facilitating risk ranking of TA work items

Train regional Core Team and Steering Team members how to apply TA CoE Practices, (assist TA CoE with implementation of practices)

Assist regional TA teams in preparation for turnarounds and resolving TA related issues

Share TA knowledge and experiences by networking with TA CoE and other regions


Requirements:

10+ years of experience as a Supervisor, Plant Operator, Field Operator, Mechanic or I&E

High school diploma

B.S. Degree preferred in related technical or business field

Direct turnaround experience within chemical, midstream or downstream environment

Strong knowledge of operations and maintenance activities associated with gas gathering, gas processing and compression

Demonstrated proficiency with PC/software skills; project management skills, etc, and possess the ability to read and understand system maps and process P&ID’s, understand fluid flow, piping design, distributed control systems (DCS), SCADA design and process control basics
